Well, my favourite song is WHITE RIOT... I also like London's Burning, London Calling, Tommy Gun, Career Opportunities, Straight To Hell, Janie Jones, What's My Name etc.

Well, as a newly claimed Clash fan who has one hell of a time getting more than a greatest hits, or LC out of the local music stores here in America I'm at a disadvantage. I absolutely can't find their debut album anywhere, not even on iTunes, which I hate anyway because I must have the CD if it's a band that I love. I have to say though that I'm Not Down pumps me up and English Civil War has some of Mick Jones' most rockin' leads, The Call Up also makes my ears perk up.

It's all good ... but I'm so Bored with the USA, Complete Control, Hammersmith Palais, Listen, Safe European Home, I Fought the Law, Brand New Cadillac, Guns of Brixton, Card Cheat, Revolution Rock, Mag 7 and Junco Partner are personal favorites.

new on here. found the link whilst looking for details about joe strummer tribute/memorial concert my bro is going to this weekend at manchester rugby club, must be about 5th year or something.
can't believe not one person has mentioned 'stay free'. 3 of us lifelong mates have notched up about 50 clash concerts in our combined 136 years!we were thick as thieves growing up in 70s manchester.so many punk memories but the clash always feature highly.
stay free is our collective farewell after we meet up as we now all over the globe. only following united drew us closer than the clash music/gigs.glad i found the site,looks good.
