   I like both, but the Clash is much more advanced.
   As my dad says, the Sex Pistols seem to have never grown up, while the Clash did.

   That about sums it up Jericho.Whilst the pistols were massively important,the Clash were more musically intellectual and gave us more and more.

   Let me start by saying that the Clash are my favourite band ever, period. However, I must comment on your position on the Pistols. They were much more than massively important. Without the Pistols, it could be argued that the Clash may not have ever happened. If they had they would have almost certainly been different to the band we know today.

   The Pistols makes you want to hit a wall but the Clash gives you a reason to hit the wall.

    The Sex Pistols made the "style" of punk popular. Note punk is only the attitude. Which both of this artist had this. But the Sex Pistols as people have said, "never grew up." Which is true. The Clash has more of a better taste to them. The Sex Pistols are a bit slimey in my taste.

    maybe the pistols was the first punk band, but of course the clash was the best!!
    thats fact! all the clash album are brilliant, sandinista is normally a f ...great double lp, clash, rope + london calling are brilliant and combat rock is 100% punkrock.
    whats up with pistols?? one good lp - is that all?
    pistols was ok but clash really changed my life!
